Hey Everyone,
I had the chance to do some maternity shots for K. Can you believe she is 8 months preggers in this picture…. Adorable I know. I only wish I looked that cute at 8 months… I resembled more of the Michelin man…lol. All kidding aside though I had fun doing some summertime outdoor shoots. It is a nice break from the studio and I got to be a lot more creative with the background. Congrats on your first little one and I can’t wait to take some pics of HIM, when he does arrive. SOON….

Take Care,
T
I read a wonderful blog post from a local calgary photographer. he talked about how taking pictures is really about capturing memories and that we should have a camera with us all the time, so when we are older we can be reminded of those times. You can go HERE and read it. It is fabulous. It got me thinking alot about the images I post. I post pictures that are beautiful to everyone, But I rarely post pictures that capture the emotion of the day. So I am going to do that from now on. At least one picture from a shoot that captures the emotion… Starting with one from last week-ends wedding.
Think about this for the next 2 weeks and I’ll catch up with you then. Happy summer holidays everyone!
Sometimes I get a little caught up in the Very MODELY…(yup I know thats not a word) Pictures, the more intimate poses, that i skim over the more genuine poses that really capture a moment in time.
So here is to the the beautiful bride and devilishly handsome goom sharing a moment of pure joy….

Take Care you two!!
