I had an amazing time with these two! They found the most perfect location and we had amazing luck with weather and lighting! The only downside was the mosquitoes! I can not wait to do their wedding. They are so relaxed in front of the camera and did I mention completely gorgeous?!?! Hey Everyone,

I had the chance to do some maternity shots for K. Can you believe she is 8 months preggers in this picture…. Adorable I know. I only wish I looked that cute at 8 months… I resembled more of the Michelin man…lol. All kidding aside though I had fun doing some summertime outdoor shoots. It is a nice break from the studio and I got to be a lot more creative with the background. Congrats on your first little one and I can’t wait to take some pics of HIM, when he does arrive. SOON….

6 months already… geesh where does the time go? You may remeber this little guy from before… He fit in his daddies R.C.M.P stetson. He has some serious personality he had me giggling like a little school girl with his little shriek and giggle! Such a fun shoot. We got some in his baby blessing outfit and then some in his more casual clothes… So stinking cute!

This family I have known for a LONG time! They are so fun and cute and I had a lot of fun catching up with them in Regina! Their baby boy is probably the cutest thing since…. Well ever! I can’t wait to edit the rest of them!! And Yes for those of you who are patiently waiting for yours…. They are on the way… I swear I am working non stop on your adorable pics too! ha ha.

But while your waiting make a comment and if The Brown family gets 10 comments I’ll throw a little something in for free!! Not sure what, YET. But it’ll be GREAT!

You may have seen this family before! I did them this January but only half of them! It was great to visit them and finish up the shoot with the whole family! I hope they didn’t mind too much all the lenses in their face! ha ha. I know their momma appreciates the effort! They are one good looking family!

This boy is pretty much the cutest thing ever! Seriously adorable! Can’t wait to see more of him at the next meet up!!

I read a wonderful blog post from a local calgary photographer. he talked about how taking pictures is really about capturing memories and that we should have a camera with us all the time, so when we are older we can be reminded of those times. You can go HERE and read it. It is fabulous. It got me thinking alot about the images I post. I post pictures that are beautiful to everyone, But I rarely post pictures that capture the emotion of the day. So I am going to do that from now on. At least one picture from a shoot that captures the emotion… Starting with one from last week-ends wedding. Think about this for the next 2 weeks and I’ll catch up with you then. Happy summer holidays everyone!

Let me just start by saying I LOVE this girl! She was one of my closest friends in High School.( Her dad worked with my dad.) She is probably the funnest person to be around ever and their wedding showed that. It was fantastic. I am so happy that she met such an amazing man. (His dad also worked with our dads… Okay OUR dads worked FOR his dad… geesh…ha ha.) He is perfect for her. I am so happy for these two and was so honored to be a part of such an amazing day. And to all those peeps that I went to High School with that are lookin’ now. Leave a comment, I am sure Erin would appreciate a free 11X14 of their choice…. Just need 15 to do it!

I sometimes can’t believe how lucky I am to have the job I do. This couple have so much love for each other it practically screams it in the photos. They Had me laughing and almost in tears quite a few times during the day. Seriously amazing couple, and wedding. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day.
